Our Approach
Meet the Founder
Cornerstone Payroll Services was built from the inside out.
Before starting Cornerstone, I spent 8 years working inside one of the large, corporate payroll companies. I saw how the system works behind the scenes — and more importantly, where it breaks.
I worked with business owners every day who were frustrated:
- Sitting on hold trying to get answers
- Getting a different rep every time they called
- Receiving conflicting information
- Dealing with payroll errors, tax notices, and last-minute surprises
And the hardest part?
Most of those issues weren’t because people didn’t care — it was because the system wasn’t built to support businesses the way it should.
That never sat right with me.
So I built Cornerstone to be the opposite of that experience.
Here, you’re not calling a support line — you’re working with someone who knows your business, understands your setup, and takes ownership from start to finish.
No runaround. No tickets. No guessing.
Just clear answers, proactive support, and payroll done the right way.
Our Approach
Cornerstone Payroll Services was built differently — on purpose.
After 8 years inside the corporate payroll world, we saw the same pattern over and over:
business owners spending more time managing payroll problems than running their business.
The issues were predictable:
- Slow response times
- Inconsistent support
- Complicated systems
- Errors that weren’t caught early
- And no clear ownership when something went wrong
The problem wasn’t the people — it was the model.
So we built a better one.
At Cornerstone, our approach is simple:
1. One Point of Contact
You work with someone who knows your business — not a different rep every time.
2. Proactive, Not Reactive
We prevent issues before they happen instead of cleaning them up after the fact.
3. Clear, Straightforward Communication
No jargon. No confusion. Just real answers you can actually use.
4. Built Around Your Business
We don’t force you into a system — we build around how you operate.
5. Accountability from Start to Finish
If something needs to get done, we own it until it’s done right.
The result?
Payroll that feels simple, predictable, and actually supported.
